This was a small one, just me and Bruce Benson and Rob Walker going out the night after a VA Linux Systems board meeting I'd flown out for. By common consent, the high point of the evening was me ripping a single two-inch hole in the ten-zone of a silhouette target with ten rounds from a .45 -- bench-rested from about eighteen feet, so it wasn't quite the feat you might think at first, but it was still a damn tight group. I had a big silly grin on my face after that one.
Bruce named it 6pre1 after the fact because it was sort of a run-up to the LinuxWorld GWG. We talked to the Milpitas guys about reserving their range for a thundering herd of geeks come August...
